Summary:We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our EHS IT team as an IT Project Coordinator to support the ACIO for the Department of Public Health (DPH) and the IT Program Leads within DPH. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical projects and processes for DPH.

Position Overview:The ideal candidate must communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, both orally and in writing, and be comfortable providing and receiving feedback. Familiarity with project coordination, initiative, and executing project administration deliverables in support of the DPH management team is essential. Key competencies include organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to identify and proactively recommend solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:Track, maintain, and coordinate actions related to procurement, action items, risks, issues, and next steps for DPH IT.Develop and maintain effective relationships with project team members, senior leadership, and stakeholders on all administrative projects.Ensure meticulous attention to detail and excellent documentation organizational skills.Prepare and design presentation-ready project reports using graphics and desktop publishing software; integrate word processing and spreadsheet files into reports. Develop templates for reporting and communication.Coordinate conference calls and meetings for multiple teams/projects; prepare meeting agendas and record minutes as needed.Manage financial responsibilities including invoice management, requesting funds for upcoming expenses, and budget tracking.Review and approve system support/procurement tickets, ensuring business justification for new equipment requests.Maintain working relationships with the Help Desk, Asset Management, and the Desktop team for timely and accurate completion of open requests.Demonstrate flexibility to manage both strategically and tactically as needed.Adhere to established policies and procedures regarding project management methodology and quality assurance standards.Qualifications:

Knowledge of and experience in a healthcare information technology environment.Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with management, business users, and project team members.Ability to interact effectively with technical personnel and a wide variety of technical resources, both full-time employees and contractors.Skill in translating and communicating technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business partners.Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.Ability to assess priorities and operate flexibly to meet dynamic team needs.Strong ability to work independently and prioritize work activities effectively.Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of Information Technology project experience.Experience in preparing project and procurement documentation.Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
