DESCRIPTION:
As an Assistant Service Manager at Fisk Electric, reporting to The Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain and foster contacts with facilities operations, owners, consultants, contractors, vendors and material suppliers
Act as a subject matter expert regarding some electrical engineering activities
Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met
Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction
Coordinating meetings, scheduling updates, submitting deliverables and addressing outstanding 'open items' as requested by clients
Preparation of look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports
Reviewing and monitoring job costs versus budgets
Keeping emphasis on the client, develop an understanding of the client's culture, key people and processes
Provide guidance and direction for estimators during the estimation process
Manage and assist project layout and coordination
Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project
Resolve inter-group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project construction goals
Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
Responsible for all financial reporting, tracking and projection of all labor, material, job expenses and changes for each project assigned
Maintain all submittal, drawing, correspondence, and change logs
Submit, review for added cost, file and log all RFI’s
Prepare, organize, and manage material buyouts
Track major deliveries to jobsites
Actively assist project Superintendent (PS to Lead Technician) with all miscellaneous issues as necessary (Material, information, special items, constructability, etc)
Weekly jobsite visits and attend all jobsite meetings as required
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of service experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Service Manager experience preferred
Leadership experience required
Electrical License required
