QC Chemist
to their team.Salary/Hourly Rate:Depending on experiencePosition Overview:The successful QC Chemist will join a friendly and dynamic group to perform lab testing on products. They will conduct accurate QC testing on finished goods, bulk, stability, and raw material samples using HPLC, GC, UV, ICP, KF, FTIR, and wet chemical methods like titrations according to SOP and current USP methods.Responsibilities of the QC Chemist:
Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab instruments and equipment.
Accurately document analytical test results in lab notebooks and maintain equipment logbooks.
Review analytical data from team members for accuracy.
Support lab investigations through testing under QC supervision.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment following safety and pharmaceutical regulations.
Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members.
Assist in ordering lab supplies, and chemicals, and maintain chemical inventory.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the QC Chemist:
Experience in a cGMP lab environment.
Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC and ICP analysis is preferred.
Ability to prioritize work tasks to ensure timely completion of sample testing.
Hands-on experience working with lab equipment and chemicals.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with SAP and LIMS is preferred.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is required.
