Must have 1 year of true pediatric experience.Must have level IV NICU and level I PICU experience.Previous children's hospital experience is a major bonus.Previously travel experience is a bonus.Treatments, ABG's, EKG's, percussion, cystic fibrosis, interstitial pulmonary diseases, open chest, ECMO, Congenital hearts, bedside procedures.Assist only, Residents typically intubate.Schedule Information
12's from 6:45-7:15 - manager schedules - but tries to block as much as possible.Every other weekendRotate in with perm staffUnit Specific Information
No adult coverage.Any color scrubs as long as they are clean and professionalDepartment Specific Orientation: 3 - 4 daysAdditional Details
50 mile radius ruleFINGERPRINT REQUIREMENTOPTION IN PERSON - MUST BE COMPLETED AT THE HOSPITAL 1 WEEK PRIOR TO STARTOPTION REMOTE - ALLOW 2 WEEKS FOR PROCESSINGLOOKING FOR RRT WITH LEVEL 4/Children's Hospital NICU EXPERIENCEOn average they do 10-12 treatments/assessments q4 hours, 3 times a day.Pediatric only position. Typically from birth - 18 years. Occasionally up to 20 years if they are still followed by pediatrics.Inpatient Pediatrics Only
