has an exciting opportunity for an
Electrical Assembler
to join the
Wattstopper Team
in
Richardson, TX . As the Electrical Assembler, you will conduct pre and post assemble functions including product testing, repairing electrical/electronic equipment and read specifications. You will also collaborate with management to ensure products meets customer requirements and product delivery date.
What Will You Do?
Adjust, repair or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring and assembly casings, using electronic material, soldering and electrical equipment.
Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies and circuits for resistance factors for operation and record results.
Evaluate and diagnose root cause of product testing failures.
Repair and maintain electrical test equipment, recommending replacements when necessary.
Navigate Bom management systems to ensure assembly processes and procedures are updated.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
1 – 2 years material handling experience
Required Skills:
Must be able to follow written instructions/procedures to test and assemble manufacturing products, including troubleshooting testing issues.
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.
Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Must have basic familiarity with computers and computer use. Proficiency in computer skills a plus.
Ability to exert up to 35 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
Ability to use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, wire cutters, tape measure, and other job-related tools.
Required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to gain certification, operate and maintain Forklift certification throughout employment time.
