Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.Other Food & Beverage Manager's responsibilities may include:Supports and Manages the Bars and Restaurants while working closely with other hotel departments.Ensures effective hiring, training, development, promotion and continuous reinforcement.Leads and coaches the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.Full understanding of colleague engagement.Assists in planning, coordinating and managing of special events and holiday functions.Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards. Candidate must meet the following qualifications:Full Time Management Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends, holidays and a varied schedule.Previous bar/restaurant experience preferred.A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.Refined verbal and written communication skills.must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of point-of-sale systems.Candidate should be extremely detailed oriented and organized.Previous experience in Food & Beverage Management or Supervisor preferredMust possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service.
