They will provide exceptional service to create an extraordinary guest experience. The Nail Technician will maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.The Nail Technician shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa Culture as well as promoting our hotel values of Honesty, Enthusiasm, Integrity, Accountability and Passion for Service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Greets and welcomes guests upon arrivalProvides information to guests and members about treatments and services and provides demonstrations if neededPerforms various types of hand and foot treatments (manicures, pedicures, nail repairs, etc.)Maintains proficiency in all components of hand and foot treatmentsPromotes and sells spa productsMaintains confidentiality of guest informationPrepares and maintains treatment areas (removing soiled linens, restocking, etc.)Maintains consistent spa inventory and orders supplies as neededEnsures the privacy of all guests, adhering to draping policiesFollows all guidelines regarding proper OSHA sterilizationAdheres to time length and treatment protocols, promotes home regimen program to clientsAssists with the promotion of treatment services at member/guest orientationsMaintains a strong knowledge of spa trends, especially focusing on hand and foot therapyProvides general hotel information for guestsAdheres to the Woodmark Standards of ExcellenceResolves guest problems and is empowered to act in absence of managerInteracts with Spa/Hotel staff in a professional manner; assists other departments as necessaryUp-sells other hotel services and amenities to guestsAlways maintains a professional demeanor and attitudeMaintains constant awareness of safety issues and reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisorActs with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipmentAttends appropriate department, hotel and division meetingsMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all hotel amenities as well as any special eventsReports to work on time and according to posted schedule, maintains accurate time recordsMaintains a professional appearance. Follows all Woodmark Hotel dress code standardsRemains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all timePerforms other related duties as assignedEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:Valid Washington cosmetology license to perform nail care requiredAt least one-year previous experience in a similar setting preferredAt least one year customer service experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS:Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have a natural ability to interact with othersMust have a strong passion for assisting guests in attaining their beauty and wellness goalsMust be able to work well under pressureMust be detailed-orientatedMust Maintain OSHA standards of sterilization and personal safety standards.Must be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to accurately follow verbal and written instructionsMust possesses excellent communication skillsMust have excellent listening skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be professional in appearance and demeanorMust always ensure a teamwork environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust have the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members; and resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful mannerMust have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests

WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to sit throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of standing and walking;Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height;Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements constantly.Must be able to lean forward, twist and bend frequentlyMust be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis.
