Welcome to the role of HR and Payroll Specialist at Beck's!
Join our corporate team located in Princeton, IL.The HR and Payroll Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties at a professional level across a range of functional areas including payroll administration, onboarding, HR data management, and maintaining personnel records through the HRIS. This position requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of HR best practices, knowledge of payroll and HR laws and regulations, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.Payroll Responsibilities:Process bi-weekly payroll for employeesTime and attendance managementMaintain and update employee payroll recordsEnsure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes using ADPMonitor garnishments, 401k contributions, and benefits deductionsAddress employee payroll-related inquiries and assist in resolving discrepanciesPrepare payroll reportsHR Responsibilities:Assist in recruitment and hiring processes, including managing job requisitions in ADPManage and follow up on employee onboarding, including pre-employment background checks and paperwork completionSupport performance management, employee training processes, and developmentAssist HR team with projects and initiatives, as neededJob Requirements:Bachelors degree, preferred2+ years of experience in payroll processing, human resources, or a related field.Familiarity with HRIS softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of integrity and confidentialityWhy Beck's?
