Schedule:Monday - ThursdayAlternating Friday and Saturday
Responsibilities:Welcome and seat patients cheerfullyPrepare and set up treatment rooms for hygiene proceduresUpdate patients' health history and provide oral hygiene educationPerform scaling, root planning, and fluoride applicationIdentify periodontal and restorative issues; facilitate dentist's treatment recommendationsCapture and interpret x-raysConduct head, neck, and oral cancer examsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive measuresSchedule appropriate follow-up appointmentsMaintain a clean and organized dental labAdhere to safety and OSHA guidelines as well as office standardsOccasionally travel to participate in continuing education or seminars
Requirements:Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene programNY state dental hygiene licenseCPR certification1-year dental experience is requiredCertification in anesthesia, preferred if applicable
