Our team of Veterinarians and Technicians at our Rancho Penasquitos clinic are experienced, trained, and skilled in all aspects of Urgent Care medicine. Our clinics are equipped with point-of-care ultrasound, digital radiography , in-house lab equipment, blood analyzers, and much more.
We are looking for an experience RVT to join the team!Compensation range:
$26.00-$29.00/hr
with a
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus!As a
Registered Veterinary Technician
in
Urgent Care some of your duties will include:Triaging patientsPartner with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and proceduresPerforming or assisting with radiographs and ultrasoundsAdminister and monitor patients for anesthetic/sedation procedures- dental experience highly preferredAdministering pre-surgical and postoperative medications.Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic eventsHandle miscellaneous prescription requests, client callbacks, lab work entries etc.Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspiratesSchedule:
4/10 hour shiftsEvery Friday and some weekend daysRequirements:
Current RVT license in the state of CA is
required2+ years
clinical experience. Anesthesia and surgery experience
required.Proficient in medical mathMust have weekend availabilityBenefits:
