Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MedSurg/Ortho C5Shift : Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs/weekLength : 16 weeksWeekend Requirement 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule periodHoliday Requirement we have a holiday rotation scheduleRequirements:AZ LicenseMinimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 monthsStrong post-op assessment and time management skills - high patient turnover unitBCLSACLSONS Chemo Provider Card is preferredCharting System: CernerTravelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with 2 max attempts)There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions# Beds 32Nurse:Patient Ratios 4:1 (with 2-3 PCTs on day shift)Common diagnoses/Types of patients post-op: colorectal, urological, bariatric, hepatobiliary, hysterectomy, breast recon, etc. AND Chemo/Oncology patientsScrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided? navy blueFirst to floatFloating Requirements? Yes, to other med/surg/tele units
