Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Washington

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Duration: 30 days Shift: DNR 24 Guaranteed Hours: 8 Experience: Minimum Board Certification - Certified License: Not eligible for bids from providers with IMLC Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Fellowship 1 in Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Description: - Provide in-house call shifts varying from 12 to 24 hours in length. - Patient encounters per shift: 20. - Beds in the department: 10. - Handle low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. - Perform and interpret FHR - NST/CST/FSE. - Conduct OB ultrasounds (screening/viability required). - Conduct required routine deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps. - Make decisions for and perform complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs. - Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations. - Handle office/minor gynecology procedures such as IUD insertion and cystoscopy (preferred). - Engage in surgical gynecology; both open and laparoscopic techniques preferred. - Perform diagnostic/operative procedures for conditions like ectopic pregnancy or ovary removal. - The facility is a trauma level 3 with a PEDs level of 0. - Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days.
