HNTB is looking for a dynamic, collaborative, and success-oriented marketing team leader to join our West Division Marketing Team to work with pursuit teams in the development of compelling (and winning!) proposals and presentations. In addition to developing win strategies, the marketing team leader is responsible for supervising a small team of marketing specialists to achieve HNTB’s marketing goals. With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for writing/leading proposal and interview preparation for large/complex pursuits. Collaborates with pursuit teams in developing win strategies. Oversees the work of other marketing team members.What You’ll Do:

Responsible for leading team members and assigning daily assignments. Writes and leads qualification packages, proposals and leave behind material pursuits. Collaborates with technical staff and writes, reviews, edits original content for clarity, compliance and key messages.Works with pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and HNTB.Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings.Supports client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client service team meetings.Leads training and education for new hires, continued education and newly identified tools.Provides input on recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of staff, including developing a plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.Responsible for coordinating schedules and approving timecards.Aids in establishing employees’ objectives and provides feedback from clients while coaching and mentoring their team.Performs other duties as assigned.What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related degree and 6 year's relevant experience, orIn lieu of degree 10 years of relevant experienceWhat We Prefer:

Transportation infrastructure marketing experience (preferred but not required)Quality assurance and quality control of marketing materials/technical documentsExperience serving as a supervisor or similar oversight roleStrong mentorship and team leadership and relationship-building skillsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Knowledge and/or familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) platformsExcellent verbal and written communications capabilitiesProficiency in common grammar, punctuation, proofing and business writingDemonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams towards a positive outcomeAbility to demonstrate strong leadership in training, execution and implementation of processes and proceduresKnowledge of AEC industry, terms, and definitions highly desiredVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.Locations: Los Angeles, CA (Figueroa Street), San Diego, CA, Santa Ana, CA (Irvine)The approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $105,071.01 - $164,341.84. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.The approximate pay range for San Diego, Sacramento and Inland Empire, CA is $100,502.71 - $157,196.54. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
