Location Murrieta, CA Duties Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions Review and analyze legal documents and agreements Provide legal advice and guidance to clients Represent clients in court proceedings Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on case strategies Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to civil litigation Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the California state bar association 5+ years of experience in civil litigation preferred Skills Strong legal research and writing skills Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw) Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Capable of working independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Knowledge of legal drafting techniques and practices
