The management of requirements throughout the whole of the delivery and operational life cycle of the software, system, processes, products, or services. The negotiation of trade-offs that are both acceptable to key stakeholders and within budgetary, technical, regulatory, and other constraints. The adoption and adaptation of requirements management lifecycle models based on the context of the work and selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches. The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing our digital commerce platforms, customer journeys, and digital marketing initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of digital commerce trends, customer behavior, and marketing analytics to drive data-driven decisions and improve overall business performance.How will YOU create impact here at USP?In this role at USP, you contribute to USP's public health mission of increasing equitable access to high quality, safe medicine and improving global health through public standards and related programs. This includes training in inclusive management styles and other competencies necessary to ensure engaged and productive work environments.The Senior IT Business Analyst has the following responsibilities:Digital Marketing Analytics: Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and ROI.Digital Commerce Analysis: Evaluate and optimize digital commerce platforms to enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue growth.Customer Journey Mapping: Analyze customer journeys across various touchpoints to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.Plans and drives scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for large, complex initiatives.Selects, adopts, and adapts appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools and techniques selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.Obtains input from, and formal agreement to, requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders.Negotiates with stakeholders to manage competing priorities and conflicts.Establishes requirements baselines. Ensures changes to requirements are investigated and managed.Contributes to the development of organizational methods and standards.Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organization change.Selects, adopts, and adapts appropriate business analysis methods, tools, and techniques, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels, in the conduct of investigations for strategy studies, business requirements specifications and feasibility studies.Prepares business cases which define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes, and associated business risks.Who is USP Looking For?The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:Bachelor’s degree
in information technology, Business, relevant field, or equivalent work experience.At least four (4) years
of progressive experience in IT as Business Analyst, Consulting as Business Analyst, or a similar role.Demonstrates clear leadership.Communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.Understands the implications of new technologies. Understands and communicates industry developments, and the role and impact of technology in USP.
