We are seeking a Purchasing Supervisor who will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the Purchasing Department, ensuring that goods and services are delivered on time with the option TCO. There will be the opportunity to grow and shape a team and be critical for developing the Purchasing Department, planning for future growth, including creating purchasing policies, training, and team building.
Company Benefits include:Health Insurance through CignaDental and Vision InsuranceEmployer paid Long Term Disability InsuranceEmployer paid Life Insurance with option for additional Voluntary Life Insurance401(k) Retirement planSafety shoe allowance3-weeks PTO, accrual starting day one8 paid holidays plus paid Birthday holidayParental LeaveCompany Perks include:Catered company lunches on a quarterly basisCompany Summer picnic for employees and their familiesFun Department activitiesCompany Happy Hours and other fun events throughout the yearCasual dress codeVolunteer opportunitiesEmployee Referral ProgramTuition reimbursementPurchasing Supervisor Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Purchasing department, assigning responsibilities and managing work loadsPerforms Buyer functions.Responsible for managing supplier relationshipsIdentify cost savings opportunitiesTrain Purchasing team in purchasing skills, policies and proceduresLead developmental of KPI's, supplier scorecards and supplier business reviewsWork with internal customers to communicate and resolve quality, lead time, delivery, invoicing or other issuesLead and manage Purchasing's responsibilities with RMA process, MRP/ECOs/ECRs, supplier discrepancies, compliance and certifications and other processesDemonstrate an SME level of proficiency with the ERP and other systems and be a primary SME resource for Supply Chain other usersTravel to supplier locations as necessaryAssists in conducting research and analysis, including generating and presenting reportsDevelop and ensure compliance with Purchasing policies, procedures and work instructionsLead the preparation of Purchasing's cost and delivery information for sales requestsSupport other Supply Chain personnel as neededUnderstand component parts and their interconnectionsPerform other duties as assignedPurchasing Supervisor Qualifications :MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDEREDBachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field (preferred) or Associate's degree or minimum of 6-years' experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role (required) in an ISO certified manufacturing environment (preferred)Industry certification such as Institute for Supply Management CPSM (preferred) or Association for Supply Chain Management CSCPExpert in utilizing ERP Systems (Global Shop – preferred)Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliersNegotiation and intermediate contracting skillsStrong PC and MS Office suite skills with advanced working knowledge of Excel, familiarity with Power BIEmployment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-Verify.
