JOB TITLE (#3020): OB/GYN - Columbus, GABoard CertifiedGreenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an OB/GYN to fill an opening with a Multi-specialty Healthcare Facility located in Columbus, Georgia.Requirements of the OB/GYN:Must have an active State LicenseMust be Board Certified or Board EligibleBenefits of the OB/GYN:The salary for this position is $224,000 / yr (commensurate with experience)This is a Full-time or a Part-time (at least 2-3 days a week) positionHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance (100% Covered by Employer)Life InsuranceLong-Term DisabilityTen accrued Days of Vacation TimeTen accrued Days of Sick TimeTen Paid Holidays1 personal dayContinuing Medical EducationStudent loan repayment through NHSCResponsibilities of the OB/GYN:Review patient's medical historyUpdate charts and patient information to show current findings and treatmentsCollect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.Consult with or provide consulting services to other physicians.Recommend and design a plan of treatment.Address concerns or answer questions that patients have about their health and well-being.
