The program offers Summer Analysts an opportunity to work alongside our investment bankers on a variety of live transactions as well as client-facing business development initiatives.What will you do?GIB provides a complete suite of strategic advisory services, as well as equity and debt capital raising capabilities for leading corporations, institutions, and governments. RBC Capital Markets’ San Francisco office recruits for the following industry and product groups:Industry Group:TechnologyProduct Group:Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)As a GIB Summer Analyst, you will spend your time:Developing and preserving complex financial modelsCreating pitch books and other client materialsGenerating and maintaining financial models and analysisConducting research to analyze market trendsSupporting live deals and major transactionsWhat do you need to succeed?In selecting Summer Analysts, we look for the following:Undergraduate students in their penultimate year of study at an accredited four-year college or universityExcellent written & verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environmentValue and possess strong competency in the following behaviors: Collaboration, Relationship Building, Communication, Integrity, and Operating with a Diverse and Inclusive MindsetWell-rounded set of interests and extracurricular activities beyond academicsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, think progressively, continue our growth, and deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
