The Ingraham Angle is hiring an Associate Producer to join the team!This exciting opportunity will expose you to every facet of news, including several disciplines -- from research and booking to topic origination, and pre-interviewing prominent guests. The Associate Producer works in a fast-paced environment and can help propel you to a lasting career in cable news.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESPitch stories and guestsCompile research packetsConduct pre-interviews with guestsPitch/cut audio and visual elements for your segmentsBook guests in the event of breaking newsWHAT YOU WILL NEEDA Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience1+ year of news production experience on a national levelA thirst for news - always paying attention to the narratives driving the dayStrong editorial judgment and skillsFamiliarity with iNEWS, DALET, VIZ precut is preferredAbility to work well in a team setting and have the social skills needed to communicate effectively with team leaders, the anchor, and show leadersPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $61,000.00-74,500.00 annually for Washington, D.C. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
