YesCommon Scans:Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Trans Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE),

including Bubble studies and Contrast echocardiography TEE

Required Certifications/Licensure:BLSCurrent registry in Adult or Pediatric Echocardiography - ARDMS ~ Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR CCI ~ Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)Valid Driver’s License/Proof of Insurance – may float between facilities

Skills required:Should be experienced in adult echocardiography proceduresPediatric and Neonatal are preferred

Support within Department:SupervisorTechnology/Equipment:EMR: Meditech ExpanseEquipment: GE Echo systems and some PhilipsFloating Required: To all campuses as assigned/dependent on needs

Orientation:Initial hospital wide orientation will last one dayDepartmental orientation will be focused on workflow, validation of capabilities, logistics and policy & procedures.

Would expect that they could perform procedures with limited guidance within a week
