Director of Individual Philanthropy - Los Angeles
As our Director of Individual Philanthropy, you will manage a portfolio of high-net-worth donors while expanding and diversifying our funder base. Every day you will build relationships with external partners to develop connections related to our programmatic and fundraising goals. To succeed in this job, you must be a strong communicator, and you must have a proven track record of implementing creative and strategic development plans for a multi-million dollar organization.

We are a values-first organization, placing commitment, passion, joy, authenticity, and excellence at the center of everything we do across our sites, including the Los Angeles communities of Boyle Heights, Watts, and Crenshaw District.

You have an intimate knowledge of the LA community.
You are passionate about and experienced at working on fundraising teams.
You enjoy shaping organizational strategy and developing fundraising plans that lead to long-term financial sustainability.
You can easily identify, cultivate and solicit LA-based high-net-worth individual donors.
You are energized and excited by the notion of meeting with major donors, and are not intimidated by a $1M solicitation.
You have expert knowledge of current and evolving trends in major gifts giving and nonprofit fundraising campaigns.
You are excited about collaborating with your colleagues in the office 2-3 days per week.
This position is exempt, with a full salary range of $96,300 - $144,500. However, aligned with our DEI practices, we target the 50th percentile of the salary band at $125,000 - $132,000. All offers are dependent upon experience.
