The Director of Sales will spearhead regional sales strategy for the states of Georgia and Florida in the electronic security and converged solutions sector. Responsibilities include leading a team to generate new sales and revenue, covering a range of solutions from access control to artificial intelligence. The Sales Director will recruit, hire, and coach the sales team, utilizing prior industry insight to drive success.RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales team leadership and development: collaborate with the regional management team to lead, coach, train, and develop sales teams for both Enterprise and Commercial customers.Sales strategy implementation: collaborate with the Vice President of Sales Operations to implement and drive adoption of sales tools, training, and standards within the sales team.Customer engagement: attend customer-facing meetings with sales professionals, adding insight and strategic coaching in a sales environment.Account development and capture management: assist field sales teams in developing existing customer accounts and relationships.Sales planning and pipeline management: develop and monitor sales account plans, considering market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity.Business relationship cultivation: cultivate effective business relationships between sales professionals and customers.Expense management and policy enforcement: manage expenses, maximizing return on investment and profit.QUALIFICATIONS:Current driver's license if driving a company vehicle.Must possess one or more of the following: Bachelor's degree plus at least five (5) years of technical sales experience; Associate's degree with a minimum of seven (7) years; or High School diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years of technical sales experience.Minimum of three (3) years of management experience.Skilled in hiring and developing sales teams for superior results.Proficient in using Salesforce.com for metrics-driven reporting.Exceptional organizational and communication skills.Collaborative leadership with problem-solving ability.Dedicated to high-quality customer service and integrity.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Sales leadership experience in the electronic security industry.BENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance.Enrollment in our company's 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements.Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.Closing:Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
