It’s Work That Matters.

OverviewThis position is a remote position, however, a primary residence in California is required prior to starting at CHLA.Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

Manages, oversees, and supports strategic initiatives across the enterprise through market analysis, business case development and performance monitoring. Utilizing market data and intelligence as well as internal data sources within CHLA and CHLA Medical Group, the Consultant creates market analyses and profiles to inform strategic plans, business plans, and strategic partnership development. Working in collaboration with Decision Support Services and appropriate operational leadership, the Consultant leads development of business plans and resource justifications for key service lines, including financial analyses for new clinical programs. The Consultant builds dashboards and tools to monitor performance of strategic initiatives and creates presentations to provide regular updates to leadership across CHLA enterprise.Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

1 to 2 years strategy/financial/operations experience within a healthcare organization.Skills Required:* Understanding of elements of health care delivery, including strategy, business planning, operations and finance;* Training, experience and demonstrated success in business case development;* Demonstrated track record as team member, with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to complete projects and assessments;* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;* Superior analytical skills; ability to synthesize information from multiple sources; attentiveness to details and results;* Consistently demonstrates and encourages a commitment to quality, customer-centeredness, productivity and continuous improvement;* Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines;* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Education/Licensure/Certification:

Master’s Degree in public health, health services administration or business.

Pay Scale Information$76,128.00-$137,030.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
