About You

The ideal candidate would be willing and able to travel to the homes of pets in need of in-home euthanasia. They should demonstrate exceptional bedside manner, compassion, and respect for families at the end-of-life for their pet. Positive communication skills, self-motivation, and willingness to learn venipuncture are attributes ideal for this position.

About Hearts & Halos

Hearts & Halos Home Pet Euthanasia provides in-home euthanasia and aftercare. We are a team of compassionate veterinarians, specializing in end-of-life decision making, home pet euthanasia services, and final care options for our client’s dog, cat, or other pet.

We provide guidance, counseling, and the ability to give the pet a gentle, loving, and respectful transition in the comfort and peace of their favorite place…their home.

Our veterinary team has cultivated a motivational, positive, and supportive work-environment. We pride ourselves on valuing staff opinions, setting our team up for success, and providing opportunities for growth. Team-positive mentality, dependability, and integrity in supporting our exceptional reputation are all equally important employee attributes.

We offer 3/10-hour or 4/10-hour shifts with a schedule of 8 am - 6 pm, allowing for travel time to and from appointments. Part-time options may also be available.

Experience & Skills Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.

State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.

100% travel required.

Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
