Mercury Financial is headquartered in the progressive and entrepreneurial tech hub of Austin, Texas. Our physical location is situated in a beautiful park-like setting called the Domain. Role: Existing Customer Management Senior Analyst

We're seeking an Existing Customer Management (ECM) Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our company's ECM team, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing customer trends, measuring impacts of prior strategies, and designing future initiatives to enhance our customer experience and drive business growth.

What a day is like:

Analyze customer trends and behaviors to identify opportunities for improvement in our credit card products and services

Measure and report on the impacts of previous tests and strategies to inform future decision-making

Design and propose new tests and strategies to enhance customer engagement and product performance

Create insightful reports and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, R or Python

Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including compliance, marketing, operations, and others to implement and evaluate strategies

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as activation rates, spend, utilization, and granular segment performance

Present findings and recommendations to management, translating complex data into actionable insights

You’re perfect for this role if you:

1-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the credit card or banking industry

Technical proficiency in some of these: SQL or SAS, Excel, R or Python; (Pref. SQL and R)

Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data manipulations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information

Data visualization experience with tools like Tableau, ggplot, plotly, shiny, etc.

Experience in or understanding of credit card products and customer lifecycle management

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science) is preferred, but we consider candidates from all educational backgrounds
