Senior Account Executive
in
Western Washington, Idaho, or Western Montana
to strategically drive sales of renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions in the MUSH market (Municipal, University, Schools & Hospitals).Responsibilities:Originate, negotiate, and close commercial sales contracts for Energy Solutions sales.Manage the customer sales process and develop close client relationships with direct and indirect sales customers in assigned service territories.Identify potential markets, distribution channels, and counterparties of interest to drive profitability and portfolio growth.Develop and implement strategies to increase sales based on current market conditions.Cultivate effective business relationships and communicate full scope of Ameresco solutions and services to meet customer energy savings requirements.Target and contact key decision makers and develop positive relationships to secure new projects opportunities, sales volume, and market share.Monitor account plan progress, including market conditions, customer needs, competitive activity and provide progress and execution updates.Seek internal technical project guidance to ensure achievement of customer satisfaction.Perform other duties as required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related technical field or a minimum of 10 years' experience marketing complex energy efficiency, renewable technology, and Energy as a Service solutions within target MUSH markets, including the ability to identify customer energy needs, effectively communicate energy solutions, and position Ameresco as provider of choice.Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by state of residence.Ability to travel up to 30%.Additional Qualifications:Have a thorough knowledge of energy industry, structure, trends, and issues to ensure full discovery and understanding of customer's primary business objectives and requirements.Demonstrated book of energy solution business within the C&I market.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).Experience negotiating contracts; NDA, MOU or PSA OR ESPC, PPA and EaaS.Knowledge of interconnection requirements and commercial rate tariffs in various States.Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis; ROI, IRR and NPV.Strong network within the subcontracting, equipment manufacturing and other industry connections.Proven track record of securing sales of complex offerings from top-level management.Demonstrated sales lead development and account cultivation skills, including effective negotiation and closing techniques.Excellent verbal, written, computer communication, and technical presentation skills.Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and positive business relationships.
