OCI builds and manages hyper-scale distributed cloud services. OCI Monitoring service gives customers visibility into every dimension of their cloud resources with data, dashboards, alarms, and notifications. We will continue to innovate on each of these services to make them feature-rich world-class services and provide meaningful insights into customer's resources and data! We are seeking a Senior Software Development Manager who will lead an exceptionally talented team of Software Engineers to elevate the Monitoring stack into the best and most reliable in the modern cloud environment by adding features and scale.ResponsibilitiesEnsure high availability and operational posture of your serviceSet the roadmap by negotiating requirements and deliverables with product management, internal and external customersDevelop project development plansDrive the team to deliver on availability and roadmap commitmentsOwn a high scale, massively distributed cloud scale service handling billions of transactionsProvide leadership, direction, and strategy for a team of senior engineersManage and deliver on a large portfolio of key OCI initiatives with a special emphasis on Monitoring services in Developer PlatformDevelop a prioritized roadmap of products, features, and engineering asksDrive the delivery of roadmap commitments on time with high qualityWork closely with a variety of stakeholders (other OCI teams, Oracle Corp teams, product management) to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectivelyProvide regular updates to executive managementMonitor the health of the Monitoring services in the OCI fleet and drive solutions to problems before they impact Cloud capacity and availabilityDisclaimer:
