There will always be expense reports, travel planning, endless calendar jockeying, but this job is very much about people. The relationship you form with the executive you support is critical, because that’s what enables you to become a true partner. In addition to understanding your executive’s business -- and business needs -- inside and out, you’ll also need to develop deep knowledge of the leadership and workings of WDI and of related departments across the Disney enterprise. Every day as an Executive Support Professional is different! On any given day you might:Handle a very busy calendar on behalf of your executiveWork with colleagues across TWDC and Imagineering, as well as with external composers, directors, musicians, and their officesReview your leader’s schedule to build-in time for things like thinking and traveling to their next meetingCreate global, multi-city travel itineraries, taking into account time zones, weather delays, traffic and fatigue levelsSchedule conference rooms, meetings and video chatsAssist other Music Team members with various administrative, departmental and office needsInterface directly with other senior executives and their support teamsHandle very confidential, sensitive informationDraft letters and emails on behalf of your leaders, prep meeting/presentation materialsAssist with on-boarding new employees – you’ll be the “friendly face” that newbies count on to answer all their questions, including some who are very senior in the organizationManage large purchase orders and vendor contractsPlan your executive's involvement in large, high-profile events like premiers, product launches, off-sites and team-building activitiesPlan group lunches, music showcases, and other gatheringsRequired Qualifications & Skills

At least 3 years support of an executive in a corporate environmentSharp written and verbal communication skills, including flawless grammar and a rich vocabularyDesire to immerse yourself fully and learn all aspects of your executive’s businessAbility to multi-task and prioritize deadlines/deliverablesStrong proficiency with all types of computers, phones and office equipment, as well as mastery of Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Confluence, Concur, and working in a Windows environmentA calm head and steady hand to deal with the unexpected“EQ” skills to build bridges, forge alliances and encourage people to want to work with youComplete reliability handling confidential, often highly sensitive informationDesire to truly be helpful to your leaders and co-workers, to go the extra mile without being askedSome flexibility in your schedule – we value work/life balance, but help if travel support is needed out of office hours while executives are travelingVery strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detailA highly professional demeanor, positive outlook and a can-do attitudeStrong professionalism and discretionPreferred Qualifications

Experience at The Walt Disney Company and/or experience working in a large public corporationExperience working with Creative teams and executivesFamiliarity and experience working with music related teamsExcellent knowledge of MAC or PC computer from which you will workEducation

Required: High school diplomaPreferred: BA/BS or equivalent preferredThe hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $63,400.00 to $85,000.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
