Job Description
Financial Analyst - Hybrid
In partnership with our client, we are seeking a Financial Analyst with financial modeling and forecasting experience in the transportation and logistics sector to join our client's corporate finance team.

Responsibilities

• Examine business and financial data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Create and manage financial models to assist with critical decision-making.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process, including revised forecasts and financial planning for specific segments.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and key performance indicators (KPIs), for senior management review.
• Study industry developments and offer actionable advice.
• Evaluate capital investments and oversee depreciation analysis.
• Develop automated reporting tools to improve forecasting data efficiency.
• Offer financial guidance to field teams, operations, sales departments as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field is required
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or investment banking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Proven ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret large datasets, with a keen interest in understanding business drivers.
• Prior experience in the industrial, transportation, or logistics services sectors is preferred.
