Fred Beans Ford of Doylestown is hiring immediately for Reconditioning Technician
6am to 2pm or 12pm to 8pm shift options available. Monday - Saturday with a day off during the week.
As a Reconditioning Technician, you'll be responsible for the inspection, refurbishment,and maintenance of various vehicles. Your role involves assessing, repairing,and ensuring the quality and functionality of used vehicles, contributing to the efficientreconditioning process.
What You'll Do•Inspection and Assessment: Evaluate the condition of vehicles todetermine necessary repairs or refurbishment needs.•Repair and Refurbishment: Perform repairs, replacements, and refurbishmentsaccording to established guidelines and quality standards.•Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks post-reconditioning to ensureitems meet specified criteria and functionality standards.•Documentation: Maintain accurate records of reconditioning processes, detailingrepairs performed, parts replaced, and quality assessments.•Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment used in the reconditioningprocess, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.•Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, supervisors, ormanufacturers to address complex repair issues and ensure adherence to standards.•Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and company policiesthroughout the reconditioning process.
Requirements:
•Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications orvocational training in relevant fields is a plus.•Experience:
Previous experience in refurbishment, repair, or technicalmaintenance roles is preferred.•Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assessment andexecution of repairs or refurbishments.
