Summary of Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who wants to join a growth company reporting into the Strategic Finance function with life science pharmaceutical company experience, whose key role and responsibilities will be financial partnering and collaborating with our Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development teams here at Lantheus.Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development is a dynamic and exciting strategic function that encompasses product development, revenue generation through the Biomarker Solutions business model, and licensing with external pharmaceutical companies.The Senior Financial Analyst will be working closely with cross functional partners in Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development to develop and present clear analysis and financial decision support to our various stakeholders and cross functionally through financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting and accounting for these functions including various projects.This role reports into the FP&A function. Our ideal candidate would also want to grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Acts as the liaison and financial business partner to the Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development teamsProvides accurate and timely processing of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close requirements; Prepare expense accruals for Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development team; Close collaboration with Accounting and Operational FP&A teams on month end close activities that impact Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development financials, in particular revenue and royalty arrangementsCollect and prepare comprehensive, accurate and timely financial analyses on actuals and KPIs, as well as comparisons against forecasts; Management of the annual budget, including monthly trend reporting, quarterly financial forecasts and effectively analyzing drivers behind monthly variances to budget/forecast and prior yearProvides robust and relevant financial analysis and commentary to the Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development team in assessing revenue, department spending and project budgets with comparisons to historical trends and budget and forecasts; Compiles data fromdisparate sources and from various departments to identify and assess performance and underlying trends with a focus on profit enhancing opportunitiesChallenge processes and the status quo to drive improvementsDevelop and maintain a monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts and P&L's utilizing ERP system generated reports for Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development to be leveraged during monthly reviews, quarterly forecast and annual budget processesDevelop and maintain complex financial models to support Corporate development decision-making through financial due diligence, including scenario analysis and valuation for new deals or initiatives (e.g. M&A, licensing).Review new and existing customer contracts for operational milestones and financial and accounting implications for forecasting and operational metrics; Proactively manage and monitor the status of milestone revenuesCommunicate with business development and cross functional operational teams to develop and maintain customer level revenue forecasts and trackingKey contributor to the planning and assessment of Biomarker Solutions and Corporate Development new initiatives or business cases (i.e. M&A, licensing etc..); Participate in all aspects of new deals from diligence to integrationPrepare presentation materials with an emphasis on financial projections and their impact to the financial statements, and other relevant financial metrics as neededProvide actionable insight on performance against business unit KPI'sSupport Finance & Accounting team's facilitation of cross-functional implementation of new or improved processes/systems for all related financial systems critical to core organizational functionsHelp create executive and Board of Directors level presentationsManage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneouslyDevelop and maintain relationships with various levels of personnelPerform ad-hoc analysis and projects as requiredJob Requirements:

BA/BS degree in Finance or equivalent. MBA, CFA and/or CPA certification preferred, not required.Requirement 3 - 6 years of experience in a FP&A/ strategic finance/corporate finance/ accounting roleKnowledge of EPM and ERP tools such as SAP is a plusAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to provide meaningful analysis (toggles, project & deal scenarios).Pharmaceutical industry experience/knowledge preferredCritical thinking and problem solving skills.Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative, team environment with tight deadlines.Demonstrate strong business acumen.Effective presentation skills.Technical expertise in finance, budgeting, and forecasting.Knowledge of financial statement analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) and reporting.Feel comfortable challenging business partners and making recommendations.Roll up the sleeves attitude and demonstrates strong attention to detail.Must have excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels.Commitment to quality and excellence, upholding the highest professional standards.Core Values:
