Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity where you will be responsible for handling complex litigation matters, developing litigation strategies, and providing top-notch legal advice to a diverse range of clients. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in insurance litigation, employment litigation, and business.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing all aspects of litigation proceedings from the investigation, pleadings, and discovery to the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
2. Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
3. Communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel and other external parties to achieve the best outcome for the client.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
5. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
6. Providing legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, ensuring they understand the legal complexities of their situation.
7. Collaborating with a team of attorneys on case preparation and strategy development.
8. Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the practice and clients.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a strong focus on insurance litigation, employment litigation, and business.
4. Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases from start to finish.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
9. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
