Orientation held every other week on ThursdayUnit Info: Pulmonary (16 monitored pulmonary/card beds), medicine, cardiac, med/surg adult and geriatric age range. A full telemetry floor with centralized monitoring with a tech.Ratios: 1:5Skills Req: Cardiac Tele/Telemetry experience requiredYears of experience REQ: 2 YearsFirst-timers accepted: Yes - if experience requirements metWeekend REQ: Every other weekend requiredCerts REQ: BLS, ACLSCan be floated within scope if neededManager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license36hrs guaranteedRTO Restrictions: none - just discuss with manager during interview
Submission Requirements:Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
