This includes maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, implementing accounting policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Accounting Manager also supervises a team of accounting professionals and works closely with other departments to support the organization's overall financial goals.

Specific responsibilities include:

Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing. Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Regularly review processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements. Streamline accounting processes, as well as produce financial reports and analytics for senior management to aid in decision-making and help improve operational efficiency in support of continued growth.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Foster a positive work environment and promote professional development within the team.Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software. Evaluate new technologies and tools to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management. Contribute to cross-functional teams to address strategic business objectives.Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required, MBA in accounting, finance, or business administration a plusCPA or CMA certification preferred3-5 years of progressive experience in financial accountingThorough understanding of US GAAP accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.Advanced computer skills required, specifically with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems (i.e., QuickBooks Online and/or Paychex as a payroll processing system is a plus)Skills and Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
