Then Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is looking for you!About the RoleAs a Sr Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing automated solutions, delivering high-quality tests and code contributions. You will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, designing, and implementing the automation framework to support multiple products. As a Sr Automation QA Engineer, you will also contribute to a variety of areas including:Design and build test structures that are easily maintainable, resilient, performant, and scalable across multiple productsWork with Product Managers and Engineers to clarify requirements and translate them into test plansDevelop, maintain, and execute test scripts/cases and execute both manual and automated testsWrite thorough tests that cover edge cases with appropriate ROI for velocity and qualityAnalyze failures and work with technical staff to ensure root causes are investigated and resolvedCollaborate with software development team to design and implement the automation framework needs and recommend Application improvementsMature and evolve test architecture through the evaluation and adoption of new automation tools, techniques, and practicesPrepare project status report and management review reports and participate in project review, quality review, and audit with the various stakeholdersFunctional testing levels may include application integration, system, system/network integration and acceptance testing; may also include non-functional testing such as performance, volume, load, and fallbackMentor and guide QA team members in growing their skillsets and performing functional testing, non-functional testing, and other testing activitiesIdentify opportunities for improvement in current processes and implement new processes/toolsUse innovative ideas to support and expand Quality Assurance deliverablesAbout YouYou’re a good fit for the role of Sr Automation QA Engineer if you have:Minimum 7 years’ experience in Quality AssuranceProficiency in writing clean, modular, reusable code (Java and Python)Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies and techniquesFamiliar in building Test Automation Frameworks from the ground upExperience working in agile development environmentExperience with Backend and Frontend testing and automationHave a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approachAbility to achieve results with broad performance guidelinesAbility to handle a variety of activities simultaneously and to adapt to often changing priorities in accordance with organizational needsAbility to devote high levels of effort and to work under tight deadlinesAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearanceU.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements
