Senior Director, Paid Socia l, you will be a leading our social practice, guiding account teams and orchestrating growth for top advertisers across top paid social platforms.We are looking for someone who blends a passion for paid social with a track record of coaching and development. The ideal candidate is confident in their ability to manage and develop our awesome talent, but also drive best-in-class paid social strategy

Client & Revenue Oversight

Serve as the paid social lead for our top clients, for which you will direct strategy and optimize Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, & other paid social platforms

Guide overall account strategy, forecasting, and planning for roster of performance, B2B, retail and lead generation clients across various industries ranging from $200k-$1MM/month in ad spend

Drive creative strategy and coordinate with creative teams to tailor optimal messaging and iterate creative based on performance

Generate strong revenue growth from client renewals on your team

Participate in onboardings, QBRs, renewal calls, and other important client communications for your team’s accounts

Serve as a senior sponsor contact for several client accounts led by your team: building relationships with client decision makers, elevating the strategic conversation, and ensuring an exceptional client experience

Paid Social Practice Leadership

Initiate, codify and secure adoption of paid social best practices across the agency

Participate in client pitches, developing cutting edge social strategy in relatable go-to-market format

Join in for key meetings with clients bringing broad paid social trends as well as knowledge of specific applicable tools to recommend

Audit across channels, account size, business types to provide playbook for account teams

Develop leadership in critical areas – creative testing, attribution, incrementality testing, tracking, targeting, algorithmic delivery, A/B testing structure

Team Management

Manage a team of Directors/Associate Directors and their team members, including Account Managers and Analysts

Train your team in advanced paid social advertising, multi-channel digital marketing strategy and client management skills including projections, analytics reporting, etc.

Focus on personnel development through ongoing feedback, performance reviews and weekly 1-on-1s with direct reports

Motivate and guide team to hit quarterly account growth and retention targets through support

About You

8+ years of paid social client management experience

Proven team leadership and minimum of 5 years of management experience

Experience developing best practices for a paid social business unit

Experience directing strategy for both eComm and B2B paid social efforts

In-platform fluency across multiple paid social platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest

Thorough knowledge of platform mechanics – campaign structure, algorithmic delivery, audience options, placement/inventory

Experience participating in the hiring process for all levels of paid social expertise

Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business

Strong data analytics and strategy background

Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to large teams

Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to work as a member of a fast-growing
