The end of 2010 marked the formation of Security Properties Residential, an affiliated property management company, to resume Security Properties’ property management function and complement its asset management practices.Great OpportunityAs the Associate Director, Investments Transactions, you will play a key role in every transaction within the Conventional Investments team by taking ownership of the transaction process. This would include the due diligence process for both acquisitions and dispositions, in addition to pre- and post-close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, transaction experience, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesLead the Company’s transaction process including coordination of all due diligence processes for both acquisitions and dispositions.Create documentation for the Company outlining processes and procedures in order to facilitate learning of the processes for less-experienced team members. Work closely with the acquisitions, asset management, and on-site property management teams to support the execution of investment strategies.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field or 5+ years of experience in real estate transaction management or a related field.Strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated track record of teamwork and creative thinking.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to analyze and interpret transaction-related documents (purchase and sale agreements, title reports, third-party reports, etc.) and communicate findings effectively.
