Join our team and be part of the talent that makes UW Health the best work and academic environmentsWe are seeking anInterventionalRadiologic Techto: Work collaboratively with Vascular Interventional and Neuroendovascular physicians and nurses. Use multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional purposes (Fluoro, Ultrasound, CT, and MR). Image inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and intra-operative patients while using critical thinking skills. Assist in emergent cases such as strokes and traumas Minimum Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside50mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, medefis portal, onboarding documents). Experience: Minimum two years clinical imaging experience required (interventional radiology experience required)Candidate must be comfortable and experienced with pediatric, neuro, and vascular interventional patient population.Knowledge of sterile technique and preparing trays for procedures. Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Prior traveler experience highly preferred.Epic experience highly preferred. Licensure and Certification: Certification by appropriate body: ARRT (R) required, ARRT (VI) highly preferred Wisconsin Radiological License requiredBLS - issued by American Heart Association only of a School of Radiologic Technology. References: Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Floating Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience.The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needsand/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
