Salary Range $16.00 - $17.00 Hourly
Job Shift Day
Description
Duties and Responsibilities: Drive delivery van/truck. Load/unload vehicle. Collect payments from COD customer (cash, check) and following company cash processing procedures. Alert salespersons/office of customer concerns or order discrepancies. Follow preset delivery route. Organize truck to ensure ease of delivery and unloading. Close delivery run by checking into the office to review invoices, payments, and trip sheets. Maintain vehicle; oil checks, refueling, etc. Inform management of vehicle maintenance needs. Alert leadership of accidents/tickets. Ability to work independently and in a small team. Maintain a clean driving record. Have a valid driver's license. Complete ongoing safety training; never drive impaired. Customer relations when delivering orders. Assist Warehouse Support team with assorted stocking or processing tasks. Check outgoing product, for accuracy, against the customer invoice. Straighten boxes, sweep floors, remove trash as needed. Additional tasks as assigned by leadership. Skills and Abilities:
Able to collaborate and communicate with other work teams. Detail oriented for processing customer orders. Able to use powered and manual equipment, cutting tools, and other tools. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical Requirements:
Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations. Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 25 pounds, 50 pounds on occasion, and 80 pounds as a team lift. Able to work in coolers.
