$19-20 hourly rate; Swing Shift working 3-11 PM. Must have experience with Opera.**Position Summary:

Responsible for directing, planning and coordinating activities of the front desk staff to ensure prompt, courteous service to all guests and ensure their experiences are distinctively supreme.Essential Functions:Oversee all aspects of guest registration and check-out, ensuring prescribed procedures are followedAssist in administering policies for communication between front desk, guests, and other hotel staffMaintain and enforce high standards of customer service, with zero tolerance for poor serviceRespond to inquiries about hotel policies, services, requests, and complaintsUnderstand hotel operations, including room types, rates, packages, and meeting spacesAssist with front desk organization, programs, and systems to keep staff on taskComplete employee documentation for the front desk teamPlan, direct, and monitor the activities of front desk agentsTrain front desk staff on sales techniques, customer service, and hotel offeringsHelp drive transient sales and control budget/overtime through effective schedulingShuttle guests in company vans when requiredHold monthly meetings with the front desk teamAdditional Responsibilities:Maintain a neat, organized work areaConduct yourself professionally at all timesReport any unsafe conditions to maintain a safe work environmentDevelop positive working relationships with all hotel departmentsComply with all company policies and proceduresQualifications:2+ years of hotel front desk experience preferredPrevious supervisory experience preferredKnowledge of front office operations and ability to plan, organize, and direct staffDetail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to read, write, and effectively interact with guests and employeesMaintain a professional appearance and have prior cash handling experienceSkilled at multitasking and working well under pressureCan follow both verbal and written instructionsWilling to work a flexible schedulePhysical Requirements:3-6 hoursStanding/Walking
