Job Responsibilities
Providing quality care in post-acute facilities as an RNGoing over options for care and observing outcomes with physicians other staffDeveloping care plans and best options with medical staff and residentsBeing accountable to follow and adhere to resident care plansSetting up medical equipment and monitoring their useDrawing fluids, such as blood and urine, for lab workAdministering appropriate treatments and medications to residentsEnsuring proper staff compliance with nursing standards and facility policiesWorking with residents and family members regarding best care optionsSupervising and training of nursing and other staff, as neededMaking sure resident histories and interventions are properly documentedHelping with incident investigations
Qualifications And Skills
Current New Jersey state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)Diploma from approved nursing programMinimum 6 months of experience (RN or related role)Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbsExcellent organizational and supervisory skills
