Goodwood Lexington is searching for experienced candidates for the position of FOH Manager who is passionate about connecting with team members and patrons. Our Managers are hungry for top business results but also know how to have fun along the way. From leading the team through a high-energy shift to exceeding

guest expectations on every occasion, to ensuring we meet our financial responsibilities, managers are the critical link to making it all happen.

All managers are cross trained on FOH and BOH duties.

Responsibilities:Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; and enforcing policies and procedures.Ensure a great guest experience from start to finishBe a role model and hold team members accountable to operational and quality standardsIdentify root cause of issues while being self-reflective and holding yourself accountable first, showing vulnerability and transparencyFoster open communication between Team Members and ManagementInfluence Team Member behaviors by championing change and restaurant initiativesLead with heart and mindDrive business results by utilizing Goodwood systems to effectively control costsFollow operational systems, such as our Manager Timeline and performing quality Line ChecksControls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; and ensuring high quality of preparation.Hire, train, retain and develop Team Members to take on larger rolesDrive guest engagement within the walls of the restaurant while developing relationships within the communityUnderstand and practice safe food handling proceduresParticipate in monthly inventory countsWork with the marketing team on promotions, events, etc.Meet goals set by Director of Operations, VP Marketing and VP Restaurant OperationsCommunicate and embody Goodwood culture and beliefs: Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable
