Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct patient assessments and charting
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures
- Utilize medical terminology and aseptic techniques
- Implement infection control protocols
- Work collaboratively with the dental team in a four-handed dentistry approach
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
- Familiarity with patient assessment procedures
- Knowledge of dental assisting practices
- Strong understanding of infection control standards
