Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial planning and analysis of defense manufacturing programs, ensuring alignment with DoD cost program guidelines.
- Implement and monitor EVMS techniques to track project performance and progress effectively.
- Ensure strict compliance with SOX regulations, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency.
- Conduct regular cost accounting, making sure all financial aspects of our projects are meticulously tracked and reported.
- Utilize Costpoint to manage project costs and improve financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and review financial plans and forecasts.
- Identify potential financial risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the smooth execution of our defense manufacturing programs.
- Provide regular financial reports to senior management, offering strategic insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, contributing your expertise to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Program Control Analyst or a similar role in the Engineering industry.
- Proven experience with DoD cost program, SOX compliance regulations, EVMS techniques, Cost Accounting, and Costpoint.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- A strong understanding of the defense manufacturing sector
