As a
Warehouse Driver
at Huckestein Mechanical, you will be a key player in delivering top-tier service and support to our customers. Your responsibilities will include order pickup and delivery, shipping and receiving materials, and managing stock areas and inventory. We will also rely on your exceptional customer service skills during interactions at the Service department and while delivering orders.
Your ultimate objective will be to collaborate with our Service team to deliver superior service. You will play a valuable role in helping to expand our customer base and exceed monthly sales targets while enhancing customer satisfaction.
Execute various warehouse maintenance, including receiving and checking incoming materials, maintaining stock areas, preparing sales orders, and ensuring order accuracy. Complete tool room management including, but not limited to, shipping/receiving, tracking, and inventory. Follow daily schedules, work orders, and both verbal and written instructions. Operate motor trucks, hand and mobile lift equipment, tools, scales, and postage meters. Loading, unloading and driving company stake body trucks, pickup trucks, and vans for order pickups and deliveries, equipment transport, and mail services, while optimizing routes for efficiency. Assist with counter and telephone sales, order pulling, and customer calls as necessary. Loading, unloading and driving of stake-body, pick-up trucks and vans. Maintain a clean driving record. Requirements
Minimum of one or more (1+) years of proven experience in customer service and warehouse operations. Basic computer proficiency, accurate data entry skills, math and mechanical aptitude, and basic reading skills. Proper use of English grammar, both written and spoken. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (MVR). Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, and regularly lift 50 lbs. or more. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of industrial distribution products. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) driver's license. Additional warehouse experience. Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated teamwork, ambition, innovation, accuracy, integrity, and professionalism. Eagerness and ability to quickly adapt to new processes and systems. Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
