Job Summary: A Physical Therapy Assistant who provides coordinated physical therapy to home health patients under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. We offer competitive pay and significant opportunities for advancement within the company!
Responsibilities Include:Performs services planned, delegated, and supervised by the PTUses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to participate in teaching the patient and familyCompletes appropriate documentation in a timely mannerApplies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of diseaseAccepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patientsMeets mandatory continuing education requirements; participates in in-service programsDemonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical TherapyLicensure: Current Texas State License to practice physical therapyExperience: Manual Therapy experience and two years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
