Description: We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team! You will perform in-process inspections to determine the quality of products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:Prepare FAI report and communicate with shop floor on a day to day basis to establish product qualityPrepare PPAP reports & Control Plan under supervisionConduct and report internal audits and evaluations under limited supervisionImplement and improve quality control operating proceduresParticipate in routine visual inspections at warehousePerform incoming inspection and communicate with vendors on a daily basisMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRequirements:Qualifications:3-5 Years of previous work experience in quality control in a machine shop environmentExperience with hand tool industry is a plusBlueprint reading is a mustWell versed in using Caliper, Micrometer and Optical ComparatorAssociates Degree PreferredForklift Experience is a plusStrong attention to detailStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to walk and stand for most of the workday and have the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.Able to drive between multiple locations**We offer a comprehensive Benefits Package including Health, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD and Life Insurance.
