Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced teaching hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:Perform specimen collection and processing with precision, adhering to medical protocolsManage pain effectively for patients undergoing treatmentsUtilize sonography for diagnostic evaluation when neededAssist in cardiac catheterization procedures as part of patient careProvide urgent care services as requiredPerform phlebotomy for blood sample collectionMaintain accurate and timely medical documentationEngage in case management to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuitySkills:Proficient in specimen collection and processing techniquesStrong background in pain management strategiesExperience in a teaching hospital environment is a plusKnowledge of sonography for diagnostic purposes is beneficialFamiliarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is advantageousAbility to deliver urgent care services efficientlySkilled in phlebotomy and medical documentationEffective case management skillsQualifications:Current RN licensure in Colorado or Compact StateCertifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCCAbout ShareSTAFF
