Internal Auditor II performs financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with the Institute of Internal Audit standards, established WellStar Health System policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. The auditor is responsible for planning, drafting the audit work program, coordinating the audit, documenting current procedures, and identifying risks and controls associated with the business objectives of the area being audited. Auditor must be capable of working independently or as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsIndependently conduct planning, including risk assessment to determine scope and identify key risks and controls for validation. on assigned audit projects in accordance with professional standards, organizational policies and procedures, laws, and regulations.Perform and document testing and analysis.Communicate audit information such as results and conclusions.
