Registered Nurse

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by providers and facility. These duties can vary depending on the specific services offered by the medical spa and the nurses level of experience and certification.ResponsibilitiesAssure quality care by adhering to standards, policies and procedures set by the providersProvide care education to patients in person or over the phoneAdhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)Administer IV therapy and in office medication management based on order providedObtain Vital Signs & body compositionsAssist Provider with any in office proceduresProvide assessment & obtain medical history within scope of practiceAssist with minimally invasive procedures such as chemical peels, body contouring, laser treatments, botox/fillers (additional training maybe required), micro-needling,Monitoring Clients during and after proceduresmanaging & storing medications securelyTracking inventory & medical suppliesOrdering and restocking supplies as neededAssist with providing pre and post procedure after care instructionsWork closely with other members of the medical team to provide comprehensive medical careTraining and supervising other staff members on certain protocols and proceduresQualificationsMust be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensureADN or BSN degreeCPR, and BCLS CertificationKnowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA complianceCandidate must be able to critically thinkIntravenous therapy (IV) proficiencyKEY COMPETENCIES•Written and verbal communication skills• Listening skills• Organization skills• Time management skills• Teamwork skills• Empathy and compassion• The ability to work under pressureThe ability to provide accurate, effective carein stressful situationsGreat customer service skills for client retentionKeeping current with continuing education as applicableA minimum of 1 year experience is required.
